Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of OSCE Timer (the "App"), provided by TTK Medical Games ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and accept these Terms in full.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
OSCE Timer offers an auto-renewable subscription ("OSCE Premium") that unlocks the full station library and all premium features. Subscription options and current pricing are displayed at the point of purchase within the App.

Billing
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Free Trials
Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Your account will be charged for the subscription upon completion of the trial period.

Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings (iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; Android: Play Store → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access to premium features continues until then.

Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are subject to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Lifetime Purchases
Lifetime access purchases are one-time payments that unlock premium features permanently on the account used at time of purchase. They are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features you must sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service; or to interfere with other users' access. The App is intended as a revision and practice aid — it does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon for clinical decision-making.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including station checklists, text, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to TTK Medical Games and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TTK Medical Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. App Store — Additional Terms

The following terms apply to you if you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and TTK Medical Games only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

Scope of Licence
The licence granted to you is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded devices you own or control, and only as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Maintenance & Support
TTK Medical Games is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.

Warranty
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a warranty failure are the sole responsibility of TTK Medical Games.

Product Claims
TTK Medical Games, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property Rights
In the event that a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, TTK Medical Games — not Apple — will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

Third-Party Terms
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of service when using the App.

Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
