OSCE Timer ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
Contact Information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. These are linked to your account.
Account Identifier
A unique user ID (Firebase UID) is created for your account and used to associate your data across sessions and devices.
Usage Data
We log your timer sessions (mode used, duration, timestamps) in Firestore to power your session history and stats. This data is linked to your account.
Purchase History
RevenueCat records your purchase entitlement (e.g. OSCE Premium Lifetime) to unlock premium features. We never see or store your payment card details — payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google.
Customer Support
If you submit feedback or a bug report through the app, the message text is stored in Firestore linked to your account so we can respond.
We do not collect any health, fitness, location, or biometric data.
How We Use It
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — syncing your settings, displaying your session calendar, and managing your account. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Payments
Premium purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to verify entitlements. We never see or store your payment card details.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage, RevenueCat for purchase verification, and Expo for the app runtime. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
